We built this 302mm halogen infrared lamp to be one thing: a compact heat source that hits hard and fast. It’s for industrial work—curing, heating, thermal processing—where you need intense, focused heat, not a gentle glow. The idea is simple. We packed a shortwave infrared emitter into a 302mm body, rated at 800W. If your equipment needs a heat source that responds quickly and delivers concentrated output, this is the one.
Power, size, and the way it actually behaves
We chose 800W because you need serious heat flux without a bulky lamp taking up space. The 302mm length gives you enough surface area to spread the heat load, but it’s still slim enough to fit into tight reflector assemblies and crowded machine bays. Electrically, this lamp was designed for a specific voltage and ignition profile. That means it has to be matched to the right ballast or power supply. If the voltage is off, the filament runs too hot. That shortens its life and raises the risk of a premature burn-out.
The details that make it reliable
The halogen cycle is a quiet hero here. It keeps the quartz envelope cleaner by sending tungsten back to the filament, which helps keep output steady over time. The quartz body can handle rapid temperature swings and the high heat that would crack ordinary glass. And the R7s base? It gives you a direct, two-contact connection, so swapping it into fixtures built for this standard is a straightforward job.
What it feels like on the line
On the production floor, this setup delivers fast warm-up and focused infrared energy. That’s what makes quick curing cycles possible, and it keeps heating consistent across a defined zone.
