How it actually works
For the MS JP7, you need shortwave IR that’s dense enough to get deep into synthetic blends without torching the surface. We stick with quartz-halogen tech to make this happen. By tweaking the tungsten filament and the gas fill, we make sure the heat hits the core of the fabric, not just the top layer. And it’s fast. Really fast. Because these are high-wattage tubes, you hit your target temp in a few seconds. The best part? The Hardware Side of Things
We use heavy-wall quartz glass because, let’s be honest, high heat makes cheap tubes bow. These stay straight. We also kept the connectors standard. You can just drop them in and get back to work. A Few Heads-Ups

Double-check your amperage before you pull the trigger on an upgrade. Also, keep an eye on your airflow. These lamps take a beating if the air isn’t moving right.
