Meet the Halogen Electric Oven: Heat, on Demand
We built the halogen electric oven for one reason: to give you heat exactly where you need it, right away. No more waiting around. No more heating up an entire room just to warm one tiny spot. It’s all about getting that intense, focused heat into your hands—fast.
What’s really going on under the hood?
The magic happens inside a shortwave infrared halogen tube. Think of it as a tiny powerhouse, packing a serious punch into a small space. It’s engineered to deliver a high concentration of energy without taking up a lot of room.
Power, voltage, and size—all in balance
Here’s the setup: a 400V input, pushing out 2500W through a 300mm tube. Why 400V? Because it drops the current, which means less energy wasted in the wiring and easier installation. And that 300mm length? It keeps all that power tightly focused. You get intense heat right where you need it—not spread thin.
Built to last, built to perform
The tube itself is wrapped in a quartz envelope with a special coating. That coating does three big things: protects the filament, keeps output steady, and stands up to rapid heating and cooling without cracking. Plus, the halogen cycle keeps the inside of the tube clean, so the performance stays consistent over time. And when it comes to the connector, we went with the R7s—simple, solid, and reliable. It handles the high current, clicks in securely, and makes replacing the lamp a no-brainer when maintenance day rolls around.
Where it shines—and what to watch for
This oven really comes alive in applications like PET blowing, where you need to heat the parison quickly and precisely. The shortwave response hits the target temperature fast, which helps you speed up cycle times. But here’s the thing: that kind of concentrated power means you’ve got to manage the heat. If your machine isn’t set up with proper cooling, the surrounding parts can take a hit. So plan your cooling strategy early, and this oven will deliver dependable, focused heat—every single time.
