That’s why we lean on 300W halogen shortwave lamps. Instead of wasting time heating up all the air around the machine, these things beam energy directly into the workpiece. It happens in seconds. The balancing act We went with 300W because it’s the sweet spot for small-to-medium setups. Sure, you could go higher, but that’s where things get messy. If you cram too much wattage into a compact molding head, you’ll start warping your reflectors or frying your sensors. Not a great look.
